A timer that a reload cannot reset.
The clock runs on the server, so refreshing the page, losing signal, or switching device does not hand anyone extra time. Play solo, against a room of up to 200, or instructor led.
- Server side timer that survives a reload or a dropped connection
- Up to 200 players in one live game
- Solo, group and instructor led from the same engine
One engine, three ways to run it.
The same quiz works in all three. You do not rebuild it to change how it is delivered.
Solo
One player at their own pace. Sessions resume exactly where they stopped, including the clock.
Group
Up to 200 players in a shared room with a live leaderboard. Join by code, no account required.
Instructor led
You control the pace, reveal answers when you choose, and see responses land question by question.
What you can turn on, and what it protects against.
The controls below exist so the same engine can run a warm up quiz and something that counts.
Timing
3Integrity
3Delivery
3From quiz to room in under a minute.
Hosting takes three steps, and players need nothing installed.
Pick a quiz
Use one you built, one generated from your material, or one from the community catalogue.
Share the code
Players join from any browser with a short code. No app and no account.
Run it
Watch answers land live, then close with a summary of who struggled and on which topic.
Common questions.
What happens if a player loses connection?
Their session is held on the server. They rejoin with the same code and resume at the question they were on, with the clock reflecting real elapsed time.
Do players need an account?
No. They enter a code and a name. You can require accounts if you want results tied to identities.
Is 200 a hard limit?
It is the tested ceiling for a single room. For larger events, talk to us about running parallel rooms.
Can I use it for something graded?
Yes. Combine the server side clock with randomised order and single use codes, and the result is defensible enough for assessment rather than warm up.
Host a live quiz and watch the room answer in real time.
Pick a quiz, share the code, and see how it behaves when someone reloads the page halfway through.
